dc.description.abstract | Corporate Social Responsibility is a management concept whereby companies integrate social and environmental concerns into their business operations and interactions with their stakeholders. The report titled "Corporate Social Responsibility Practices in Islamic Banks - A Case Study on Al- Arafah Islami Bank Limited" has been prepared to fulfill the internship program, which is also a requirement to complete the BBA program. This report consists of six chapters titled introduction, company and industry preview, methodology, analysis and findings, internship experience, and recommendations. The primary purpose of this report is to analyze the CSR practices of Al- Arafah Islami Bank Limited (AIBL). Secondary data has been used in this descriptive study. AIBL is committed to conducting all financial activities based on Islamic practices. AIBL ensure effective and efficient banking operation by following Islamic principles. This report also compared CSR practices between AIBL and other Islamic banks in Bangladesh. According to the analysis, AIBL mainly contributed to the health, education, disaster relief, and social welfare sectors. Like other banks, AIBL should expand its CSR efforts by contributing to sports, arts, and culture. AIBL lacks strong promotional strategies for its Islamic banking services and CSR initiatives. To improve their public image, they should engage in more promotional efforts. | en_US |
