“Retirement Policies and Facilities” (A comparative view of United States & Bangladesh)

Abstract

During my last trimester of university life of BBA program, I have done my internship at Data-Path Ltd. to have a practical experience. The main topic of my internship report is “Retirement Policies and Facilities” (a comparative view of United States & Bangladesh). In this report I have provided a detailed overview of Retirement plan Industry and as an incorporated company of July Business services what are the activities and services Data-Path provides as well as compared this with Retirement facilities given in Bangladesh. During my internship at Data-Path Limited, I was assigned to the Office Admin team where I had to create different proposals and illustrations for our external sales team at July Business Service (USA) and, I had to communicate with various clients from USA about their Year End Reports. I have learned a lot about the different services and their related fees in the retirement plan industry (USA).I have also carried out a face to face interview with 4 conveniently selected professionals to get their view about their pension plan which are prevalent in Bangladesh. In total 4 persons have been interviewed with their expectation and current facts about retirement payment methods followed by their respected organizations.
