dc.description.abstract | Remote work is the option of letting workers perform their task in an environment of their choosing over a traditional workplace. The reasons for choosing remote working conditions could be due to workers outsourced or even due to the office workplace being unable to accommodate employees because of detrimental environments. The opportunities of remote work allow for people to complete their objectives and keep their company work progress going. Additional gains include a better work life balance as well a reduced need to immerse oneself in the hazardous environment of Bangladesh which is known to have a low air quality in urban areas. Moreover, Bangladesh has an issue of centralization that plagues the capital with an imbalance of population compared to the rest of the country which is because a concentration of work opportunities being available there. As such, remote work can be the solution for expanding the economic capability of Bangladesh by spreading activities throughout the country. Although, remote work is not without challenges. Remote work is technologically dependent and Bangladesh is impoverished with bad electrical connection as well lower internet speed compared to the rest of the world. There is also the implication of businesses and employees blurring the lines of work that would negatively impact all parties. Nevertheless, the benefits of remote work are still viable and the future of it is still possible with the advent of newer technologies and better philosophy behind it | en_US |
