Market Insights Management of Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd
Abstract
Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd. (JFL) stands as a formidable force in India’s foodservice industry. Since its inception in 1995, the company has woven a rich tapestry of flavors, innovation, and customer delight. As part of the Jubilant Bhartia Group, it has not only mastered the art of pizza but also diversified its portfolio to cater to diverse palates.
At the heart of Jubilant FoodWorks’ success lies its exclusive master franchise rights from Domino’s Pizza Inc. This strategic partnership has fueled the growth of Domino’s across India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal. With an extensive network of 1,928 Domino’s stores spanning 407 cities in India alone, Jubilant FoodWorks has become the largest franchisee for Domino’s outside the United States.
But Jubilant FoodWorks doesn’t stop at pizza. It embraces culinary diversity with open arms.
Dunkin’ Donuts, with its colorful array of glazed rings and aromatic coffee, has woven itself into our mornings. It’s where colleagues bond over coffee breaks, where students celebrate exam victories, and where families share sweet moments. Dunkin’ isn’t just about donuts; it’s about warmth, indulgence, and that first sip of coffee on a chilly day.
Jubilant FoodWorks’ influence extends beyond the Indian subcontinent. Through its step-down subsidiary, DP Eurasia, the company is the exclusive master franchisee for the Domino’s Pizza brand in Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. DP Eurasia operates 694 stores, with an impressive 88% being franchised outlets. But that’s not all—DP Eurasia also boasts its own coffee brand, COFFY, traded in 67 stores.
In Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, Jubilant FoodWorks operates through its 100% owned subsidiary. Currently, the company manages 50 stores in Sri Lanka and 26 stores in Bangladesh. This strategic expansion demonstrates Jubilant FoodWorks’ commitment to serving diverse markets and delighting customers across borders.
