Through a mixed-methods research design, including surveys and interviews, the study investigates the motivations, challenges, and opportunities associated with freelancing in Bangladesh.
Key findings reveal that flexibility, autonomy, and income potential are the primary drivers for choosing freelancing. While challenges such as finding clients and managing finances exist, freelancers also benefit from personal and professional growth. The study identifies technical proficiency, communication skills, time management, and adaptability as essential for success in freelancing.
Recommendations include government support for infrastructure, skill development programs, and a conducive business environment.
