dc.description.abstractIn this report, I have shared my internship experience from Fronture Technologies in the context of improving a part of supply chain management using its RetailGo ERP software. During my 3 months internship I was exposed to everything from finding new customers, customer service and answering client’s queries through sales meetings until preparing performance reports. The report provides an overview of RetailGo ERP in terms of inventory management, order processing, financial systems and customer relationship. I also talk about the pitfalls that occur in implementing ERP solutions; one specifically being moving of data, resistance to change and a lot more. To solve these challenges, I present a few suggestions for users to use the system more effectively and make it work better. The report also includes a service blueprint depicting the customer journey, as well as an RPN (Risk Priority Number) analysis to identify possible risks inherent in employing ERP systems. This later information gives us much valuable info, on how the ERP solutions could become a part of the retail vertical. In general, this internship helped me get the basic idea of how an ERP system works and why it is important to make a supply chain more efficient. I trust that the details in this report will serve as references for future ERP projects.en_US
