Internship Report On Experience in the Accounts department of Akij Venture Ltd.
Abstract
The School of Business & Economics at United International University requires this internship report as part of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program. It shows what my overall internship at Akij Venture Ltd. was like. This company is one of the best in Bangladesh in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.
I worked in the Accounts Department, where I was able to do a variety of financial and administrative tasks. I was responsible for preparing the daily fund report, RTGS and payment advices, reviewing bank statements, and entering data into the Oracle ERP system. I also helped with the paperwork for the outside audit.
During my internship, I applied the knowledge I gained in my finance and accounting classes in real-world situations. I learned how to use ERP software, report on it, talk to people, and manage my tasks better. I also learned how a big corporate finance team works in a business world that is always changing.
In this report, I listed the responsibilities I assigned, the skills I used to fulfill the responsibilities, I used, the contributions I made, and the most important things I learned. Here, I also give suggestions to make the workflow better for the accounts department and talk about how the experience has helped me get ready for future work challenges.
This internship has helped me connect what I've learned in school with what I've done in the real world. It has also helped me learn more about corporate accounting, financial reporting, and the culture at work.
