| dc.description.abstract | Education of any kind is necessary for man to develop socially and intellectually. Every day we
learn something new. An education should be rooted to culture and committed to progress. Each
of us has a social personality that is different from everyone else; we also have a learning
personality that is different from everyone else. Our learning personality is the combination of
natural talent, personal interest, current opportunity, social environment, character, motivation
and how the brain processes information.
In today's world this learning capability is judged by means of examinations. Examinations are
every important in judging one's personality. Thus, the need of exams today in schools, colleges,
institutes, universities and even companies for various purposes. The general paper-pen
tests/exams are now slowly being replaced by the online internet based testing system sometimes
referred as e-examination system or Online MCQ Test System.
The project described within this document is an Online MCQ Test System that are conducted through
the internet for remote students and designed with the specific goal of reducing the hectic job of
assessing the answers given by the students manually. Responses by the students will be checked,
automatically and instantly where there is an answer processing module. Being an integrated Online
Examination System it will reduce paper work.
MCQ means Multiple Choice Question. Multiple choices are a form of assessment in which respondents
are asked to select the best possible answer out of the choices from a list. Here, institute hosts multiple
choice questions, students can give exam by getting registered by the administrator and instantly get
result with correct answer which reduces the anxiety. This system also has time tracker so it can measure
student’s required time. Student is given unlimited time to answer the questions and after finishing
the exam answers will be evaluated through automated process and the results will be published
on the portal. It can generate various reports and graphs for evaluation purpose almost instantly when
