For the purpose of the report Evercare Hospital Dhaka, one of the top private hospital in Bangladesh, has been selected and their service rules were compared and analyzed with BLA 2006 Chapter IX to explore existing standards, practices and gaps. The report is prepared based on primary data collected from interviews with HR professionals of EHD HR team and EHD service book (HR Policy) and for secondary information different websites, web documents, classroom lectures and published materials were explored. The report reveals fourteen out of nineteen sections of BLA 2006 Chapter IX are compliantly followed by Evercare Hospital Dhaka and only five sections are non-compliant. Evercare Hospital Dhaka in some cases provides more benefits compared to stated standards in the labour law. The report depicts Evercare Hospital Dhaka as a premium private hospital in Bangladesh is quite compliant when it comes to employee working hours and leave facilities except for few practices. However, government should initiate to launch labour laws and policies specifically targeted to healthcare industry employees rather leaving them for the general labour law of the country.
