Its programs for corporate social responsibility, including the largest scholarship program in the sector, help to distinguish between DBBL's customers and the community. The program involves financial support for the prestigious Gannett Olympiad, Physics Olympiad, and Informatics Olympiad organizers, as well as help with the creation of educational infrastructure and the provision of necessary educational tools. Last but not least, as part of its corporate social responsibility in healthcare, DBBL has invested in the Smile-Brighter initiative, a Dutch Bangladeshi bank designed to restore children's smiles by providing free plastic surgery for youngsters with chapped lips and palates. Furthermore, Dutch-Bangladesh Bank has been attending to their suffering since 2008 by offering sophisticated cataract surgery (intraocular lens) cataract surgery activities for the blind around the nation.
