    Abstract
This study focuses on the Human Resource Management (HRM) practices at Premier Bank PLC, specifically at the Chotto Bazar Branch, Mymensingh. Premier Bank PLC is a prominent private government-sector scheduled bank in Bangladesh, actively engaged in commercial banking operations since its inception. The report aims to assess the HRM activities carried out at the Chotto Bazar Branch and shed light on the overall HRM practices within Premier Bank PLC. The report highlights the challenges commonly faced by banks in Bangladesh regarding HRM practices. These challenges include talent acquisition and retention, regulatory compliance, diversity and inclusion, technological integration, and employee development and training. These issues pose significant hurdles to effective HRM in the banking sector. To identify and analyze these HRM-related problems, a mixed-method research approach will be employed. The primary data collection will include interviews with HR professionals, managers, and employees at the Chotto Bazar Branch. These interviews will provide valuable insights into the specific challenges faced by the branch in terms of talent acquisition, regulatory compliance, diversity and inclusion efforts, technological integration, and employee development. Additionally, a survey will be conducted to gather quantitative data on employee perceptions and experiences related to HRM practices. The survey will encompass questions pertaining to talent acquisition and retention strategies, compliance with regulations, diversity and inclusion initiatives, technology utilization, and employee training and development opportunities.
