    Abstract
This internship report focuses on the export procedures of Palmal Group of Industries, a leading RMG manufacturer in Bangladesh. As part of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program at United International University, I had the opportunity to complete a three-month internship in the commercial department of Palmal Group. The objective of this internship was to gain hands-on experience and develop a practical understanding of the company’s export operations. During the internship, I was actively involved in several key functions, including data entry on Mexport, creating invoice for buyers, creating EXP ( Export permission from Bangladesh Bank), preparation of bank submission documents, booking submission for buyers, bank submission data entry and supply declaration preparation. These responsibilities gave me valuable exposure to the export workflow of a large scale RMG exporter, enhancing my knowledge in areas such as documentation, communication with buyers and bank and international trade processes. Palmal Group founded in 1984 by the late Engr. Mr. Nurul Haque Sikder, is one of the most prominent textile and garment industries in Bangladesh. It has earned recognition for its operational excellence, CSR initiative and global competitiveness. The company’s vision is to become the leading supplier of quality apparel products and it operates through a vertically integrated manufacturer system with services including knit fabrics, printing & embroidery, trims & accessories and ready made garments. This report outlines my internship experience, highlights the operational strengths and weaknesses observed and provides a detailed analysis of palmal’s export procedures. It concludes with recommendations for enhancing operational efficiency and streamlining the documentation process. Overall, the internship provided a solid foundation in supply chain management, procurement and logistics, bridging the gap between academic learning and professional practice.
