    Abstract
    The objective of the study was to examine the impact of microfinance on women empowerment .However, the specific objectives were to investigate the impacts of financial wellbeing, family decisions, social activities, freedom of choices and freedom of mobility on women empowerment .Data (n=100)were collected from the women microfinance. Borrowers from Dhaka and Narsingdi districts. Data were analyzed following linear regression technique. The finding of the study showed that two of the six factors significantly positively microfinance women empowerment construct. Others were found to be insignificant, but they negatively affect the variable of women empowerment. These result & imply that family wellbeing and family decision are two important factors that have to be taken in consideration to formulate any policy related to microfinance lending system.
